I had another interesting experiance with one of our so called ” Power Sellers” , Worms Wrangler. It all started about a month ago, I was looking for a company to buy worms from when I ran out. After listening to all there crap, I decided to try them. They made me a Guasanito dealer right away. About a week ago i needed some worms,so I placed an order for 5 pounds. Three days later I get an email saying they werent going to ship until some time in February.I canceled the order that day because I couldnt wait. Then I had to request a refund And was told I would not get my refund till this Friday. I cant understand why I have to wait when they got there money from me right away.
Meanwhile I have lost a couple of customers and some orders now and in the future. Suppose I had them drop ship those worms to my customers. They would hit the roof, when they got there worms the middle of February. Thats why i didnt have them drop ship. Well I still havent got my refund.
Im going to add Worms Wrangler to my list of crooks. The list will be quite long in a couple of months.
If youve had a problem with Worms Wrangler or anybody else please let us know. This is the only way I can think of to get rid of these guys. That is if we all stick together and warn everybody. Maybe we can save some people some money and get rid of these crooks. The internet is so full of scams right now. You are afraid to open your Email. This has got to stop or slow down. Can you see the internet in 10 years if this keeps up?
Well the finger is sore again. The madder I get, the harder I press.
Again if you have something to say about this, including Worms Wrangler and the rest of them, say it.
Check back often for my updated list ofpeople to stay away from. I would say check back here before you buy anything. Im looking for new COMPLAINTS everyday.

Today my complaint is about buying worms for composting and fishing. Why do worm farmers sell there worms by the pound? Because it is a lot easier and takes a lot less labor. They just pull out the worms and put them on a scale and tell you thats a pound. How can you tell.with the castings and all mixed in. They say there is about 600-800 red wriglers to a pound. Ive bought some worms that should have been 2000 worms to the pound. So I recommend, before you buy find a farmer that sells you 200 if you order 200. When you buy like this, if you have any doubts, you can always count them.
Why do they ship the worms dry? Because its a lot lighter and saves on shipping. If you find a Worm Farmer that ships in castings, you and your worms will be a lot better off. The castings are natural to them and contain moisture which they need badly. Plus you will get some starter bedding. The worms were born and raised in castings, why put them in some dry powderery stuff. Worms need moisture as every body knows.
Well my finger is getting sore again.
One more thing does any body have any complaits about.

Well we had another storm yesterday. We didnt loose power, but came close. It ended up pouring rain. What a mess, there is a lot of weight on my roof. Its to late to do anything now. Just have to ride it out, Lets talk about Worm Castings.
Worm Castings
Worm castings are the end product of the breakdown of organic matter from some species of worms. Vermin compost is different than other types of compost because it is much richer and has many more nutrients; vermin composting is beneficial to the soil in several ways. It improves the physical structures of the soil, it improves the biological properties of the soil and improves the water holding capacity and enhances germination and plant growth. Red Worms are the most common type of worm used in vermin composting. Right behind the Red Worm is the Euro Nightcrawler.
Euro Nightcrawlers are smaller than the Canadian Nightcrawler. The Euros range about 3-5″ long and about as big around as a pencil. Euros need no refrigeration and can be fished in ice water and salt water. Vermin compost consists mostly of worm castings and decayed matter.
The worms are fed a balanced diet of vegetable scraps, crushed eggshells, pasta corn meal, oatmeal, chicken mash, etc They are fed this balanced diet this guarantees an abundance of nutrients in there castings.

Well take a guess. Its snowing again another 8″to 12″ of that beautiful stuff. Ive got a ton of snow on my roof and Im beginning to worry. The weather man says it might turn to rain tonight?
Lets get back to worms. Before I start id like to say,if anybody has any questions or can add to this blog feel free to Email me at walkerdog2@gmail.com.
Worm Tea is the topic of the day. From what i can tell there are two kinds of worm tea, one is the kind thats taken from run off in your bin. This is from moisture in the bin and any excess water. This is the stuff that comes out of the spout in the bottom of your bin. The other is the same tea only it is cooked and aerated. I dont know much about the aerated kind. I do use the run off tea and its pretty power full. Mix 4 tablespoons to a gallon of water and you will see the difference very shortly.
You can use this every time you water and you can put it in a hose end sprayer or a hand sprayer. If you strain your tea.

Well guess, what its snowing again. 6″ to 12″ of that fluffy white stuff. If we get much more Im afraid Im going to loose my roof. I have about 15″ of frozen ice up there. The weather man says it might change to rain tonight or maybe ice. Could be another four days without power. I dont think I have four days of would left. Well onto the blog.
I have been on the internet for two years and ive seen a lot to complain about. Lets talk about Homestead Website Builders. Billed a website in a matter of minutes, anybody can do it. Well I tryed and after many help calls to them with no answers. I emailed them canceling my free subscription, with know response. When my bank statement came out, they took $100.00 out of my account. Then I called customer service and they said to bad, you have to notify them buy phone. It does say that in the contract. So I said there goes another $100.00. I began calling customer service and after two days and about thirty calls. Nobody answers that number. I finally Email them to call me and they did, two days later. I finally got my subscription cancelled, but it still is a $100.00 lesson.
If you have any horror stories like this PLEASE let me know at walkerdog2@gmail.com and Ill publish it on COMPLAINTS
The following is a list of companies ive had trouble with. If I havent written about them yet I will in the near future. If you have anything good or bad to say about these companies, let me know. Maybe with enough people we can do something about these companies.

We have another storm coming Wednesday Whoop pea.
Today I will tell you about Worms and gardening. Adding Red Wrigglers and Euro nightcrawlers to your garden is one of the smartest and enviromentally friendly things you can do for your garden. Each worm under good condtions produces its own weight in their daily castings. This is one of natures finest plant nutrients. Castings contain 7 times more phosphates, 5 times richer in nitrogen and 11 times richer in potash and a lot of microbes and organisms than is in .your average 12″ of topsoil. If you put the worms on your lawn , garden or potted plants they will burrow neat little tunnels that let moisture, oxygen and nutrients reach the plant roots. They actually eat the dirt and turn it into rich healthy natural manure, which I and others call black gold. If you use these castings you can throw out those nasty chemical fertilizers and go organic, for your health and the enviroment. Black gold is rich in vitamins which will transfer into your plants, flowers will have brighter colors , fuller blooms and stronger stems. Vegetables will be healthier, bigger and taste better. Youll sleep better knowing youre doing yourself and your grand children a big favor by eliminating chemical fertilizers.

Today is sunny and 30 degrees, We are supposeto get some melting today.
Today is one of my bad days. I would like to have this blog where everybody who gets a lemon, can complain about it here. Do you have any complaints ?
My gripe for today is Eden Pure heaters I made one serious mistake before I purchased the heater, I didnt check the reviews. If you go on the internet and type in Edin Pure heaters you can read the reviews. Id say out of about 50 people that purchised this heater two of them had something good to say about the heater. Thats my own fault.
I had heard people say the heater was great and if you listen to Paul Harvey he swears by it. So I laid out my $400.00 and sent for the heater. It arrived in good time. Iset it up according to the directions and it work pretty good in our living, saving on oil as stated. Well when I got the electric bill after 3 weeks. It had almost doubled. Then the following week it stopped working and I begin to finally check into this heater. Thats when I read the reviews. It makes you wonder why these people are still in business.
I called customer service and got the run around as they say in the reviews. Finally I got to talked to somebody in customer service and they said they had to have it in there hands before the thirty days are up. Well this is about the 26th day. so I rush and get it down to the Post Office and trhey want $76.00 to ship it. No way! I would have been charged $76.00 to ship it back and if they didnt get in time I would have to pay for parts.
I took it home and before I took it to the dump I decided what the heck may be I can fix it. Let me tell you after taken out 52 screws and still not being in there I quit. Somebody doesnt want you to get inside that heater.
When I was working I was an electrician, i fiqured maybe a fuse. But no fuse or reset button. I think this is against the law, what happens if the heater overheats with no fuse? Fire
Before I take it to the dump I will get inside of the heater.
If you decide to get inside your heater be carefull, very sharp sheet metal.
Does anybody out there have any to say about Eden Pure Heaters?

Well its cloudy and 22 degrees up here in Gods country. Thats the weather from your hippy dippy weather man. Who was the original hippy dippy weather man?
Lets talk about Worm Waste Systems. This is up and coming. We design and construct waste systems for horse farms, diary farms, chicken farms and just about any farmm with animals. We also design systems for commersial projects, housing developments, schools, churches, restaurants, etc
The solids are converted into worm castings. then are mixed with waste water, the result is perfect liquid fertilizer for the garden. This waste is now kept on site, processed in the worm farm system and reused as liquid fertilizer for the surrounding gardens.
This can be done on a very large scale or a single home project.
Worm Waste Systems can convert just about every thing into very good fertizer( worm poop) or an excellant liquid fertilizer ( worm pea). Using worms and recycling all of that material will reduce landfill and methane gas. given off by our landfills.
This system uses worms to do what they were put this earth for, procees waste and fertilze the soil.
Just as they process all the leaf matter. seeds and animal waste on the forest floor They are used in Waste Systems to process sewage, waste water and organic garbage.
Well my finger is tired again. I cant keep doing this with one finger. r

New England weather is screwy. Today it is beautiful, sunny, no wind, temps in the 30s.
Worms are 82% pure protien. I wonder if you body builders are interested. It has actually been researched that a worms diet can reduce cholesterol due to worms full of Omega3 essential oils. Worms make a good stir fry. Thats probably why you dont see overweight worms
We had better not take to eating too many worms. If we did it would make dramatic effect on the waste they eat to keep the soil clean. Worms can proess 10 tons of natural debris and turn over 40 tons of soil each year. You wouldnt want to see that amount of waste back up on the surface. It wouldnt be very pretty, never mind the smell and Methane gas.
Heres an interesting twist on the subject of worms. Im sure youve heard of worms being used for fish bait. But in some parts of the world worms are actually eaten. China for example, It is also very common among the Australian Aborigines and the Marious in New Zealand.
My finger is getting sore again.

Here it is 2.00 am in the morning and its snowing.
My daughter inlaw, her husband and two daughters were up from Conn. today and are on their way back now. It was a very busy day. KIDS.
Back to worms I guess your wondering how those slimy little critters get around. Well the muscles that are in their bodies is whay pulls them everywhere. Having no legs doesnt stop them from getting where they want to go. Tiny bristles called setae run all over the soft shiny slimy little bodies These setae give the worms traction to pull themselves around and burrow through the soil.
The burrowing that the worms do serves more than one important purpose. I dont know if the worms know but as the worms are burrowing they are cleaning the soil, removing by removing waste, leaving behind castings, which is clean nutrient rich filled soil, the small burrows they create allow the soil aeration to be possible so the ground can store water after rainfalls. This createsfresh soil for new plants or vegetables.
As I mentioned before a lot of so called experts come up with a lot of different answers. Buy the way I am far from being an expert. Can anybody answer these question that I have.
Some say you can put worms in your outside compost pile. A compost pile should reach 160 degrees. Can they survive in these temperaturs.
Well thatsenough for this morning. My finger is getting sore. I have plenty more questions.
