COMPLAINTS
Jan 29,2009
Today my complaint is about buying worms for composting and fishing. Why do worm farmers sell there worms by the pound? Because it is a lot easier and takes a lot less labor. They just pull out the worms and put them on a scale and tell you thats a pound. How can you tell.with the castings and all mixed in. They say there is about 600-800 red wriglers to a pound. Ive bought some worms that should have been 2000 worms to the pound. So I recommend, before you buy find a farmer that sells you 200 if you order 200. When you buy like this, if you have any doubts, you can always count them.
Why do they ship the worms dry? Because its a lot lighter and saves on shipping. If you find a Worm Farmer that ships in castings, you and your worms will be a lot better off. The castings are natural to them and contain moisture which they need badly. Plus you will get some starter bedding. The worms were born and raised in castings, why put them in some dry powderery stuff. Worms need moisture as every body knows.
Well my finger is getting sore again.
One more thing does any body have any complaits about.
