Its the first of February already. From now on its all down hill as far as winter is concerned. On the news the other night they said it was the coldest January in 85 years. The average temp for the month was 28 degress, Its hard to believe that this January was that bad. It was bad alright. That bad?
Well what about worms? One question a lot of people ask is. How often do I feed my worms? You should feed your worms as often as they eat up the last batch of food. You can feed them as often as every few days, just check and make sure the last batch is gone before you add any more. If your bin starts to smell you are feeding them to much. Worms can survive a long on just the bedding you have provided them. The less you fuss, the better they will do there job. If you have a smaller bin it is usually best to pull back some bedding, adding the food and then covering the food with lots of bedding
